You really think they are balanced. I?m just curious. I read 2 battle reports of EC here on the board. And as much as I can say there is no real conclusion on hellblades or Hell Talons or massed fearless units? Am I right? Without wanting to offend anyone but are you sure of making a list official with near to zero testing? (Has anybody read a Deathguard report?) |

I have serious concerns same as you about all the massed fearless units. Also I'd like to see the aircraft issue and other chaos issues sorted. So no to shifting them to official status (whatever that means), without more testing. I'd like to see them concentrated on with that as a goal though. |

The only way to do it is through massive playtesting against official lists. The batreps should be then discussed here at TacWar. When the previously appointed army champion (not the list creator) thinks it is balanced enough it should be submitted to the ERC for review. We should start with the lists in the SG vault (or their updated versions), I am not sure which though. |

I'd be more interested in seeing more lists raised to "Official Experimental" status and stored in the Vault, to get a wider exposure as it seems more people visit the SG site than TacCom, even if they aren't posting. |

The Hell Blades and Talons are completely different from EC and are proposed changes to all Chaos lists... so no need to bundle them :] |

The Emperor's Children seem to be doing pretty well, not sure there's much there that's broken - there've been a steady (if very slow) stream of batreps for them - not least rpr's recent splash of games. It needs some work, though. Death Guard are certainly not balanced, and I'm not sure I won't dismantle the list fairly drastically. However, I did assume that by "fan" lists the title meant those lists that aren't even in the vault for one reason or another - and there are a number floating around. Presumably, the lists in the vault are going to be considered for official status de facto. |
