CrimsonFury was the champion for the core SM.

BA and BT had champions as well, but I've blanked on both of them.  As far as I can recall, none of the other lists (Scars, DA)  had champions.  The Fifth Horseman did an Imperial Fists "theme" article for Fanatic which basically discussed how to build an IF list using thematically appropriate choices from the Codex list.

Off topic question: What is the workbench of an army champion? Is there a fixed structure they can rely on?

What is his area of work? any guidelines for this?

It depends largely on the list. Development seems to go in busy and quiet periods (and the busy periods always seem to be when you have the least time!  :D ).

One thing that should be made clear is that the role has a fair amount of arbitration. Think of it as being a judge, hearing all sides of a case and making a decision on it.

Also, be aware that any Champion must be prepared to upset people, since every decision will have some who disagree.

This assumes NetEA actually exists.  Despite my best efforts to rally folks around the idea, NetEA is stillborn.

I share your feelings, but feel that this is a delecate time and am unsure what to suggest.

I'll take it!  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Well i have developed a DarkAngels armylist. So i sign in for being DarkAngels Champion :)

Salamanders need one too but there i chare this with The_Real_Chris obvioulsy :)

I've stooped to participating in a Warmachine League for crying out loud... do you really want something like that on your hands?!

Honestly, I love doing EPIC development, but I can understand the desire to have more "cooks" around... I'd certainly do it if asked, but I'm totally willing to let someone else deal with it as well.

another question is would there be one person for all the Marine lists or would there be one for the main list and others for the chapter lists (i.e. Dark Angles, Black Templars ....... and so on).

I think that we should have a single 'Marine Champion', who can assign sub-Chapters if required, but is tasked with co-ordinating stats, getting updates for the lists moving, etc and making decisions based on issues across multiple Chapter lists.

Hmm ok...but is it a whise decision to have a Chaos Marine as Space Marine Champion...eg ME? :D

And i seem have a tendence tu suggest changes which no one seems to be interested in :D
