It's likely I haven't moved into the CMS yet and it's pulling for the local files. Changing things in the CMS is more time consuming then just updating the local file, so I tend to do the latter first.

I just downloaded the new tournament pack from a few days ago, good work updating it Dave!
In the Death Korps army list their cavalry are 'Death Riders' which have different stats (a higher save and only a single CC attack not two). The army list still mistakenly refers to Rough Riders. I pointed this out months ago but it hasn't been fixed.
The cost of the DK tank platoon should drop by 25 points also, in-line with the 25 point reduction for the Steel Legion tank platoon.

Regarding the AMTL list, IMO the "original" PDF is not sacrosanct. I see individual PDFs/documents for armies as temporary until a list is approved and not yet refined for structure and wording. There are loads of these documents of variable quality and structure, and they are mainly for playtest purposes so that's OK. By contrast I expect the final version in the TP to have an editorial style that matches the rest of the lists, standardised formatting etc etc.
Once a list is approved I expect the main route for people to access the list would be through the "official" NetEA documents - in this case the TP. So following approval, as a user I would prefer if the standard practice was for the AC to replace their "independent" PDF with the TP version. Hopefully a way can be found for ACs to actually produce TP-style lists way before they go up for approval which might make this a little less awkward, but I would still want some quality and editorial control over the approved lists so some changes are inevitable.
As a developer I understand the desire for a clean, generic and "hack free" system. You can't integrate lists where each one is special and demands its own unique structure, wording, style etc. It's unmaintainable. Ideally you want one system that every list conforms to. It isn't always possible though and IMO the priority is always for the user experience. For example the "weapon = character" mechanic is perfectly fine, but I would not want any artefact of the system to be visible to the user. Character has a semantic meaning to people and it is plainly strange to describe a weapon as a character, so I would want to hide this from the user somehow.
