Cool, so 30cm AT5+/AA5+ Lascannons, and 45cm AP5+/AT6+/AA5+ Autocannon.

Reducing the Lascannon range also helps keep the Strike Variant from being too potent, since it also has the Lascannons.

Sounds fine to me. The 6+ armor represents their maneuverability fairly well, but it's rather unimportant for their role. Usually I'm just hoping the enemy AA fire misses.

I think if we're having a 45cm interception at AA4+ we need an armour downside.

Yeah, I was agreeing with you. ;) Your comment "sounds fine," it wasn't the current armor rating that sounded fine. I apologize for my semantic ambiguity :p

I have no idea. I thought it was before but now I think its different after Rug weighed in? Eh?

I really think they need the 6+ amour, AA/AP/AT on the Auto and any other stats to match with other plans that may have the same weapon/weapons names.

What we're looking at right now:

Armour --
Wingtip Lascannons: 30cm AT5+/AA5+
Long-Barrel Autocannon: 45cm AP5+/AT6+/AA5+

I'm satisfied with this outcome, as is Zombo and Rug. Moscovian's agreement seemed contingent on dropping the armor to nil, which is fine to me.

Dude, the armor is useless either way. The chance I'd jink with AV - but not with 6+ is so small as to be nonexistant. If it takes AV - to get the debate closed I'm not going to fight it. I'll still use the two flights of Strike I own, and probably get some Attacks later.

I think its an issue. I think Lighting has enough Armour to warrant a 6+ save. Might not be that much but its something and I think it deserves that much, no?

I wanna close this debate as much you but just a sec ago everyone was happy with AT4 Las and Amour 6+. After Rug jumped in we tweaked everything, the weapons came out fine but do we really need to nerf the amour too?
