However, a little dash of autocracy is needed to get things done at times IMO - more velvet glove than iron fist, but you get the idea.

Sorry for the delay (I seem to be saying that a lot recently ). I narrowed it down based on the nominations and I've sent emails to the current ERC members soliciting opinions. I hope to offer the open position to someone soon.
