I think lists should be graded on a readiness scale (1-5?)...

A 5 tier system?! Goodness I hope not. Most people couldn't care less about what such (ultimately impossible to categorise) balance issues might mean to them. And debate over such trivial detail risks bogging things down in further endless debate rather than just getting something done.

"ERC Tournament Approved" and "Experimental" is fine. Just lets have something made already.

Agreed.
5 Tier's might be useful within the testing parameters of the group, but to johny first-time all he really cares about is are they available for him to use. Stick as much stuff in there that is playable as you can would be a good go. Leave stuff that is still in development out, but stick everything else in as "tournament balanced" and "experimental". For the vast majority of people reading the document this will be all they care about.

While I applaud this, could we commence by setting up a single page right now containing links to the various parts, so that irrespective of the actual state of the Rules, FAQ, Army list, supplement or compendium we would have a single starting point for all EPIC documents.

I would also echo the others that there should be a minimum of "states". My suggestion would be that these are used to describe each link, and should be :-
- In progress / Experimental
- ERC Tournament approved
- 'Official' (for all GW documentation)

1. All those lists that are recommended for tournaments. This would be official + Dark Eldar at the moment.

I am happy to recommend AMTL for tournament use, if anything they're slightly underpowered.

Death Korps too is probably fine for tournament usage.

Salamanders are tourney ready too. There are only a few stats issues mainly because some untis are shared with other lists.

Noted on all counts.  I'll take this as an official recommendation and ask the ERC for a vote but we may need a bit for all of us to review.

For me personally, AMTL seems okay but my experience with them is almost all scenarios.  I have a couple AMTL games coming up so I'll check them out in greater detail and I'll try to get in a GT game or two.

I don't have an opinion on Krieg.  Haven't played with or against them, so I'll have to do that.

I've played multiple Salamanders games and I agree they are ready, barring the LR stats.  However, I think that's a big deal and really needs to be ironed out before we make the call.

All of which is why it is important to give yourself a deadline to produce something...

So when is your deadline?

We also set a schedule for the various army reviews and even though it lagged at several points, the only parts that really dragged were the ever-controversial Tau and Nids, primarily due to a large scale review vis a vis the French version of the list.

Deadline will be set once we have a scope more clearly defined.
