The mere thought of it actually kind of made me wince at first but I have to say this is really rather smashing after all. 
The VSF Death Star is quite cool.

Very interesting indeed ! I'm sure Tas, this "is your cup of Tea !" And BTW, I got an AMT snap-fit Death Star model, 9 inches in diameter ! That's the size of a basketball ! It's SIB ... but I think it will make a nice terrain BIG piece !
