...and about frakking time!!!  :;):  :D

Contracts were exchanged yesterday, the movers have been booked, as have ferry tickets, so we leave next Wednesday (11th) and should arrive at our new home the next afternoon.

Huzzah, hooray, wooh, and indeed, hoo  :laugh:

Next thing, I'll have to work on organising the first Euro-EpiConvention  :;): for later this year.  Watch this space!

Thanks to everyone for your well wishes and moral support whilst we've had to deal with all-sorts of problems while we've been waiting to move.  See you en France!  :cool:

One bit of moving advice: call your movers 2 days before their appointment, then 1 day before, then the same day.

Thanks very much, everyone! :D

Otterman, the removal firm are locked down for that date - we've had to work in to their schedule 'cause that was the only day the had free that week; they go back & forward to the Continent all the time, but it takes quite a bit of logistical balancing to get everyone across.  They've been on permanent stand-by since last August (!), we've been using their storage facilities - so far we've found them to be honest and reliable.  So I don't think we need to hassle them too much to remember to come get our stuff on Wednesday! :laugh:
