Post subject:  Old Metal Stompers
From time to time I've spotted people using/selling old pattern "stompers" cast in metal.  One version is clearly the old 40K runtbot, but another looks fairly similar to the first plastic stomper.  Are they really Epic pieces, and where'd they come from?

The stompas are legit Epic pieces, from SM1 era.  They are a little smaller than the plastic stompas.

The "runtbot" looking ones are probably Tinbotz.  I don't recall when they went out of production but it was probably when all the other SM/TL stuff did.

Thats cool info, I've never seen the old metal stompas before, didnt know they existed, I have three of the Runtbots impersonating stompas in my own Ork Horde tho. I'll have to keep my eye peeled.

Yep, 2 versions of the metal Stompa were in limited release in the Golden Days of SM1. I have one version with the straight mouth.  There is another version with ^v^v^ mouth ...  I posted a pic of mine a little ways back ... :D   But would like to find one with ^v^v^ ...  :)
