Hello! Recently an on-line magazine asked me to make an article about alternative 6mm miniatures manufacturers usable with Epic. So, could you please help me with the ingent task of listing them all?? So far what i know is: - Irregular Miniatures: they have fantasy, historic and sci-fi range of 6mm, although they are not precisely noted for their good quality. Their miniatures could be use for representing Space Marines (the sci-fi range has got a lot of SW-style stormtroopers), Imperial Guard (almost any of the historical), and feral orks (using their fantasy range for feral boyz and the like). Incredibly enough they also sell civilians, cops and terrorists in this scale! - DRM miniatures: Impressive quality miniatures. They have three ranges, humans (usable as IG), Andrayads (most people use them as Necrons!), and Kraytonians (humanoid lizards, which have a proposed epic army list for using them as Slann). - Exodus wars: So far the have humans (usable as IG & adeptus arbites!) and Kazaris (whose stricking resemblance to Squats may or may not be purely coincidental) - Microarmour: well, this guys only sell historics, but you can always use them as IG. Very high quality. - GZG: this guys have a huge range of 6mm miniatures, mainly sci-fi humans (usable, as always, as IG). Atention to their bounty hunters and alien set (predators and aliens, usable maybe as kroot and genestealer), and their marvelous starship trooper bugs (which could help people in dire need of tyranid proxies, like me ![]() And now, your turn ![]() |

Microarmour is a GHQ brand if I'm not mistaken. Don't know about the GZG (Ground Zero Games)website. Last time I visited there were no pictures of their stuff. |

Thanks, I didn't realise GZG was Ground Zero Games, or that Microarmour was GHQ! I've found them okay now. Thanks again, Reaver |

Baccus Miniatures have just brought out there Sci-fi range (can't remember the name). I havn't seen the infantry, but most of the vehicles look pretty usuable. Adler Miniatures also do a small Sci-fi range called dark Star, the infantry are very nice although perhaps a little oversized for epic. The vehicles are mainly grav, but again are very good as are the walkers. Hope this helps. |

I like Adler's infantry. They're a little too tall, but nicely detailed. One of the kinds has helmets reminiscent of the Master Chief from Halo. |
