Well not sure how many people transfer their tactical skills from the table top to the PC around here. I'm one of them I have to say and all in all I'm really looking forward to 2007.
Back in 97 a little known game company called Cavedog, came out with a game so revolutionary in scope, it broke the RTS stranglehold that C and C had at that time. Huge battlemaps, free unit downloads, two expansions that actually added hundreds of hours of gameplay, two of the most equally balanced enemy forces you'll ever see. Total Annihiliation was one of the best games for the PC ever. (Well in my opinion anyway

Created by Chris Taylor the man behind TA, it seems that the sequel I craved so much at the time is now coming about.
Gamespy have a nice review of the current beta and it's scope is even far in excess of even that of TA, which is really saying something!
Hopefully they are going to manage an early 07 release. I can see a lot of time disappearing on this game.
