Hello guys,

I have just been bit by the epic bugs :D
I played one game about 15 yrs ago...wow I am getting old ???

Well anyway, I have been buying stupid amounts of lead/plastic for my new mini craving.
I think I ordered at a minimum of 1 thing of every army from the EVIL GW (2 orders totaling about $250 us). I placed a $200us order from FW.
And probably spent upwards of $300 on ebay...if not more, shhhh dont tell the wife.

I am a pretty talented modeler and amature caster/sculpter-converter. So over the next few months I will probably be like a mad scientist.
Oh dont worry though, I will not mess up any rare minis by converting them...I would rather cast new ones to do that with.

No matter how hard I tried to tell myself I would not convert or even adjust my new epic minis I just cant be like that.
I already added nice new barrels to my FW basilisks.
Am planning on molding and recasting the ever so beatiful FW great squiggoth.
I have plans to try and duplicate the old FW tank factory(all scratch built...probably for casting).

I like to bring as much realism as I can to my minis, so everything I do consumes many more man hours than I usually have.

Well their you have it.
My name is Robert Wallace and I live outside the New Orleans area..Covington to be exact.

Have my first mold in the making for the FW squigoth...I'm not expecting much (like a perfect 1-1 copy) but that wasnt what I was really going after. I would like very much to make some terrain with fallen/dead squigs, not something you can really do with the FW's squigs unless your Bill Gates.

Also trying to mold some certain pieces of the FW Ramalies BFG fort for epic terrain.
Already went through a pound of silicon rubber today....hmmm.... there goes that tau order I wanted to place:(

I will post pics probably tomorrow night...maybe, I can get pretty lazy with such endeavors.

Welcome aboard!

You know, with comments like that the unofficial forum rule #1 requires you to post pics for us to drool over...  :;):
