Hi all, Far be it from me to unearth last year's resolutions - I don;t think I've completed one! But looking ahead - and this time I'm not being ambitious, I hope: 1- complete my PhD to get more time for anything else. 2- goto 1   But I'm counting on the ToTW to get a few Aeronefs done, at any rate. And I'm harbouring wild plans for a RustMarine Nurgle army, and a small U.N.I.T. force, and some stuff from Torchwood....... |

Oh crud is it time for this thing AGAIN? Last year I reset the year befrore's ones....and didnt do much better Now to be fair I was away for half the year, but a change in life means a change in priorities and thus resolutions. In 2007 I SHALL: a) Enjoy a whole year of being at home with my family b) Do more modelling and painting than 2006 c) Give up smoking., For good this time (barring another active duty deployment to a war zone which has mucked me around the last 2 times) d) Be good to my VSF Blog e) Really try hard at my Maters Degree f) spend more than I need to on wargaming I can guarantee now that I will achieve at least one of these resolutions! |

Oh no... I always end up dissapointing myself... 1 Finish the NetEpic Gold Army Books 2 Paint up a load of Epic Eldar 3 Paint some more Chaos stuff; mainly Slaanesh and Black Legion 4 Work on my Dark Angles force. 5 Learn French 6 Kick myself when I fail in the above...

I resolve not to make any resolutions !  LOL !!! I will find a decent job and a female that is not a Slann Worshiper ... or Khorne, or Tzeentch, or Nurgle for that matter !  And lose more weight ! Those are not resolutions ! Those are imperatives !

I'm going to review what resolutions I made for this, but I know that outside of gaming, I probably didn't even come close to a lot of them. Given how my home life has hit a rough spot, I'm going to restrict my '07 resolutions to gaming. Here goes: 1. Paint a significant portion of my Squat army. I have about 20k to work on. 2. Continue working on my Ultramarines. Most of the infantry is base-coated already. 3. Work on terrain. 4. Paint Knights. I have about 50 and I'd like to put a dent in them. 5. Resume writing my alternate critical hit tables for Titans. 6. Start painting another army, even if it's just primering everything. 7. Lose weight. Okay, I lied about only gaming resolutions, but this one needed to be included. My weight is getting out of hand and before I break 200 lbs I need to do something about it! 8. Buy more minis that I don't really need.

Might as well get in on this. I usually don't make resolutions, but there's some gaming stuff I NEED to attend to. 1. Finish enough Orks to have a solid force 2. Start & finish enough Marines to have a solid force 3. Hold off conversions until the above 2 are done 4. Organize storage shed (new home for my minis) 5. Organize spare room (current home for my minis) 6. Buy more minis!!! |

My main priority is making it through the tough first probationary year of a post grad uni course, and get more done on a PhD. However lets not forget other important details on the to do list :Epic Eldar To paint Warlock Revenants Vypers Shining Spears (and assemble) Epic Guard 4 Warlords 2 Reavers 4 Warhounds Rebase Infantry. Epic Orks Make one more transport box Paint Flak Wagons Paint Big Gunz Buy 2 Gargants and paint. Buy (or make) supa gunz and paint. Epic Marines Make transport Paint pods, cruiser, preds, rhinos razorbacks, hunters. Epic Tyranids Make transport. 12 Raveners from rippers. WFB: Assemble, convert and paint the 2 giants I won in competitions in 2006! |
