Well it's been almost two months sense the family and I took possession of the new house. ?

We have worked pretty relentlessly and I can say that for the moment we are done. ?The boxes are unpacked, the rooms are organized and the furniture is in. ?

And the last and most important thing is that my new gaming room the "Battle Basement" is now ready for action.

Thanks to the blizzard today I was able to finish and organize the place. ?It is now ready for painting and games. ?The only question left is which project to start first.

As you can tell I'm really happy having my own room now....well until I write that mortgage check. ?

Enjoy...

Welcome to my Crib!

The General's eye view of the battle table.  This also shows the storage containers that my minis are forced to share the basement with.

Half is ours half is the in laws

You can't have freinds over for a freindly game without a place to keep cold drinks and play a game of darts between turns.

Especially for those slow moving opponents.   :)

We have a lot of trunks.  There are two more under the tables.

The tea carts is not mind really!  :p

But sense the wife doesn't want it upstairs it's great for placing reserve troops.  Have to think like a gamer when funiture gets rejected

Looks awesome! :)

Wish I had that much space back in the UK... all the houses over here in America are massive!

Thanks for the tour!

Very cool place, I always hoped for a full basement
for wargaming, and to set-up my drums, and bass  and bass amp, and a pool table, and a littlle corner for some model railroading...and an air brush spray booth...and a  little corner for some woodworking tools...

:D
