Was just curious who was going this weekend.  I'll be heading up to Albany for Saturday's tournament :) , but won't be able to stay for the Sunday game. :(

Will anyone be there on Friday? ?If so (and there's table space), are you interested in a pickup game (say... 3000 points)?

Attendence, unfortunately, was sparse. Saturday was basically Suvarov, Moscovian and I. I wasn't able to arrive until 11:30 due to an unexpected car repair. The opening round game was between Moscovian and a relatively new epic player who was already signed up for other games that were going on and thus unavailable for any more rounds.

Since it was just the three of us, we decided to play a large 1-on-1-on-1 game for the rest of the day. We used several tables, which made the playing area roughly 10' x 10'. We each had 17,000 points!!  :D I had AMTL, Moscovian had Eldar and Suvarov had Orks. Even playing till after midnight, we only managed to get in two turns. Needless to say, it was wild. It will be a long time before I play a game that big again.

Sunday, it was just Suvarov and me and we played a standard 3000 point tourney game. I had AMTL again and Suvarov took IG. It was a close game, but sadly I went down in defeat.

Overall, it was weekend to remember.

That 17,000 point game was freakin' awesome.  I kept laughing at the absurdity of playing such a massive game.  I'll email Suvarov and maybe we'll post the pictures together  so everyone can see just how insane 51,000 points of Epic looks on the table.

Oh, dear Lord.  The army list.

Uhmm...

Biel-Tan 1.7 List

*1 Dragonship
x1 Wraithship
*1 Warlock Titan
*1 Phantom Titan
*1 Revenant Titan formation
**1 Void Spinner formation of 3
*1 EoV formation: 2 Cobras + 1 Storm Serpent
x1 EoV formation: 2 Scorpions + 1 Storm Serpent
*1 EoV formation: 1 Scorpion + 1 Storm Serpent + 1 Cobra
Swords of Vaul formations
*4 Falcons, 1 Fire Storm, 1 Fire Prism
x2 Falcons, 4 Fire Prisms
*2 Falcons, 3 Fire Prisms, 1 Fire Storm
x4 Falcon, 1 Fire Prisms
**2 Night Spinner formations
x1 Shining Spears formation
*1 Banshees/Dark Reapers formation, 2 Exarchs, 4 Wave Sepents
x1 Banshees/Dark Reapers formation, 1 Autarch, 2 Wave Sepents, 4 Falcons.
x1 Fire Dragons/Dire Avengers formation, 2 Exarchs (in Vampire)
x1 Fire Dragon/Striking Scorpions formation (in Vampire)
*1 Warp Spiders formation (in the Warp, ironically)
x1 Swooping Hawks formation, 2 Exarchs (off board)

x1 Wraithlord formation of 4 (250 points, just for fun)
x1 Ranger formation of 8
x1 Ranger formation of 4
x1 War Walker formation
*3 Wind Rider/Vyper formations
****5 Vampires
***3 Night Wing formations
**2 Pheonix bombers
x1 Warp gate
x1 Avatar

* indicates how many times I was able to use those formations in two turns.
x indicates that I never got to do anything but activate them.

I just ran over the numbers and I believe I didn't carry a '1'.  It's 18,000 points!  :O  OOPS!  Not that it mattered being that a full third of my army never did anything.

Low point of the night - I rolled 7 failed activations in a row.  SEVEN.  For those of you who are calculating, the odds are 279936 to 1.  That was about 90 minutes where I just sat there doing nothing but collecting blast markers.  :(  The fortunate thing was Suv and Dwarf were quite preoccupied at the time.

High point of the night - getting to fire my Cobras at a titan finally!  I've never been afforded the opportunity until Saturday.  Two Cobras took a Warlord and dropped him from 8 to 2 DC.  Then they were promptly vaporized by another Warlord.  :p

I'm glad to see that everyone made it home safely. ?To set the record straight, Moscovian's first opponent was brand new to the game (he was a pre-6th-edition WHFB player) whom I saddled with a truely rotten IG army (that was mostly painted, and had no Aircraft or WEs for simplisity's sake).

Armageddon Ork list:
Mega Gargant + Warlord
3x Great Gargants
2x Gargants
2x Soopa Stompas + 6 Stompas
3 Stompas + 7 Drednotz
1x Big Warband + 5 Gunforts + 1 Battlefort + 3 Nobz + 3 Big Gunz
1x Big Warband + 1 Kommando
2x Big Warband
1x Warband + 1 Nobz + 1 Boyz&Grotz + 5 Battlewagonz
1x Warband + 4 Battlewagonz
1x Warband + 1 Battlefort
2x Warband + 2 Killa Kanz
2x Big Blitz Brigadez + 2 Soopa Gunz
2x 'Uge Blitz Brigadez + 2 Zzap Gunz
1x Big Blitz Brigade + 2 Zzap Gunz
1x 'Uge Blitz Brigade + 1 Gunfort
1x 'Uge Blitz Brigade
1x Big Blitz Brigade (Deth Koptaz)
2x 'Uge Kultz 'O Speed (1 Buggies, 1 Warbikes)
2x Kultz 'O Speed (1 Warbikes, 1 mixed Scorchas & Buggies)
1x Big Gunz Mob + 2 Zzap Gunz + 1 Nobz
1x Big Gunz Mob
2x Landaz
1x 6 Fitta Bommaz
1x 4 Fitta Bommaz

I've added Moscovian's pictures to my gallery.  He has a much better camera than I do, and spent a lot of time waiting while DS and I thought about our moves (and while I moved my hordes).

Nice pics, Moscovian. I hate to brag, but my Titans look pretty darn good in the pics (as do yours).
