Post subject:  IG competitive tourney list
Trying to prep a comrade for his trip to the Memphis tourney.  Does anyone have a 3,000 tourney competitive Imperial Guard list (standard list-not Baran Siege masters) that I would borrow?  We don't have a lot of players here and I am trying to warm him up to lists more in the way of what he might expect.

Any competitive lists would be appreciated and can be done privately if necessary-just want to give Honda a sense of the horror his boys are in for.  There was a nice list on EPICOMMs before the metamorphosis from Chris(???) but it didn't make it with the change.

For reference I have gobs of infantry, 6 manticores, hydras, 9 basilisks, and a tank company. However he has a large plethora as well and we don't have an issue proxying for these things.

Glad I asked, this list is quite a bit different from the ones we've played against each other.

The list is designed to go toe to toe with other armies. Reg HQ & Mech Inf double and fire on target formations followed by Rough Rider assault with supporting fire.

Anything big is targetted by the Vultures (strip shields), Deathstrikes and if needs be shadowswords.

Although expensive the shadowswords are also great terminator hunters.
