Hi Guys,

just visited the Oldcrow Homepage and its temporarily closed with the following message:

"We are happy to announce that Old Crow Models has taken over the Ainsty ranges, formerly produced by Mike and Pat Brooks."

Does anybody know what this means in detail? What is the Ainsty mini range? Do you think we can expect more 6mm minis in the future?

Comments welcome!

Hi K-Loop,

Ainsty was primarily 28mm resin scenery although they did do some 15mm and evena little 10mm. In the not-so-recent past, they even had a 6mm line at one time.

Old Crow is a very capable company so I'm expecting alot of good things from them. I think that the'll deliver.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Just as I was looking into buying some piping from them. Figures with my luck :D.

Go for it! The piping is great I can highly recommend it.
Have a look at my epic pipeline system:

http://epic-killerloop.epic-battles.de/ --> Terrain --> Pipelines

The starterpack contains everything you need to build a decent pipe system. And its imo fairly priced ...

The Oldcrow Website is overhauled and now contains also the Ainsty stuff.

Great minis, I think some SiFi stuff could be used for Epic as well.

Is that Ainsty pipe farm ice or is it nice?    And the Orc bunker with the old Rogue Trader vintage Orks made me so nostalgic... .

I think this is a good fit for the two companies. One was much more about terrain and the other more about vehicles. I think this could be good for everyone.

Hi!

The more 6mm choices we have the better.

Nice work on the pipelines!

Here's some great eye-candy of their buildings:

Hi Neal,

She is a HE!

I like Stephane. He has a lovely daughter if I remember correctly.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.
