I would just mix them in with the boys. Then if for some reason they did return for something, you just use those stands. Besides, the boy stands need all the help they can to look more Ork and less IG.

I am trying to finally get busy and work on my E:A Ork army. I've got quite a number of old Ork Madboyz. I've thought of either just using them as boyz for some added visual appeal or as Kommandos as they have a similar appearance. This second option would free up some of my Kommandos so I could trim the axe a bit and make them look like Stik Bommas. Again, just to add to my boyz for some visual appeal. I could also do both if I don't use too many Madboys or Kommandos on my boyz stands. Wouldn't want to get them mixed up w/ actual Kommando stands after all. Any new suggestions or comments on the 2 ideas I currently have are greatly appreciated. Thanks (and check out the E:A Lizardmen army list, link in my signature) |

Mind you, the old Madboyz were kind of fun. I'd keep them as distinct stands and create house rules for them, otherwise using them as Kommandoz or Wildboyz (in the Feral Ork list). |

I've used them as runtherds to stretch grot stands (because everyone is short of grots these days) but mostly I used all of mine to make Wyrdboyz for Feral Orks. Kommandoes with a Wyrdboy would make a good proxy for Madboyz w/ Wyrdboy if you wanted to play Ferals. Past that I'd just use them as part of Nobz stands or a Warlord retinue. |
