Just Curious, is this site trying to fill the void left when the other "Rumor Site" went away?
Not that there is any negative to someone trying to fill the role, I just did not know about it and thus am curious.

Firebase is going to be a quarterly webzine dealing with all things in the 40k universe. I think this is an excellent opportunity for the Epic community to produce some articles that more than just the Epic community will see. I am actually going to be one of the 4 gamers in the Tale of 4 Fleet Commanders for BFG with my Imperial Fleet. I was wondering how much interest we had here and if there was anyone besides me who may want to be the point of contact over at Warseer concerning the Epic articles for Firebase. If interested PM Darkseer on Warseer, may also want to start a discussion thread on the Specialist Games Sub-Forum to get info from people there. Or if the general opinion here is that I do it let me know. |

Warseer opened up a couple of weeks after Portent closed, if that's what you mean. |

Evil & Chaos did you talk to Darkseer? A reason to try and get some Epic Articles in Firebase (even if sometimes they are taken from Incoming) is to give exposure to the game in something that 40k players are going to be reading. This is why I think trying to get stuff in Firebase will be a good idea. Warseer has replaced Portent, it is actually pretty much the same crowd as Portent and run by the same people. Portent's server crashed much like ours did and it took them a while to get back up and running. |
