One of the side tracks in the whole VSF world of games is the Dino Hunt. Victorial big game hunters in a lost world hunting dinos.

Anyone tried that before?

What did you think?

What rules were you using?

Did you get one or get eaten?

40k Rogue Trader.
Hunting the finest beasts provided by the Natural History Museum.
I believe all the blighters were bagged, though not before we had to sacrifice the bearers.

Poor Bearers, they always seem to get it on these kinds of trips.  :8:

Tally Ho! Pip pip and Bernard's your Uncle Chaps!

Indeed me and a few of the lads went 'a Dino hunting.  Landy Victoria (Meaghan) did not shame herself and bagged a small Carnosaur and Baron Boris (Reilly) did everybody proud when he fearlesslly countercharged the rampaging Rex.  There are soem pic in my Blog thread

We used the amusing Saurian Safari rules by HLBS.  They are very simple and quick to pick up with lots of random movement/action tables by dino type that makes it most convenient

It was a game of great fun - dont hesitate to hit the trails yourselves :)

I've got 3 - 10mm Dinos from Pendraken if anyone needs Megasaurus?, etc. !  T-Rex & Stegasaurus (sp.?), IIRC !     :)

Not sure how they would look with 15mm Hunters?
