Hi all,
and especially Dafrca, it seems that my 9th June day has been sabotaged by my postgrad, and I won't make the full day. Saturday is a bit hectic as well, so - I jumped the gun. I started with an hour's work today. Total:
1 DRM Majestic undercoated
5 DRM Velite and Verger mix undercoated
1 DRM Andrayad stand assembled and undercoated
4 more DRM Andrayad stand assembled
1 Wood Elf ogre (I'll explain - some day - got a lot to do with Venice) undercoated (no, he wasn't planned, but got hit by the spraycan blast - danged area of effect weapons...)
A few more Andies cleaned of mould lines
Search for command base material for Andies (I'm making these a bit larger - if only I had extra Warmaster bases...)
Design and assembly of CLASSIFIED - COTHICOMP 2006 ENTRY  :blues:
Messy, not much, but it's a start.

Day 2 - several more Andrayads cleaned, and the Dark Eldar BFG ships and a Confrontation Fire Elemental undercoated.

Yes, I have put new batteries into the camera. Life is good. My only worry is that the forcast is cloudy. If that is the case, I might not be able to primer. But not to worry, I have a backup plan.

Still have breakfast, then build secret HQ Project. Work on terrain. Assemble the Walker Companies. Put troops onto paint sticks.

I will have lots to do and photos of it either way!

Wow - not a bad list, that!
My black undercoat gave up the ghost earlier than expected, so now I'm undercoating with a rather thin Model Master matt plack paint which works just as well (if slower).
The Confrontation elemental, incidentally, was another outsider trapped in the undercoat blast (and this time it was a paitbrushnot a spray can :p )

We have few "humid" days here in SoCal. But when it is here, it has a way of jacking with the Primer.

But either way, I will have a great day and get lots of things done!

I am also about to start my day. I have a batch of minis which is more than enough to keep me occupied for the day. And, they are a variety of different styles and scales to keep things interesting. Pictures at the end of the day...

My 9th is just finishing here in NZ - like V unfortunately I got stuck with lots of postgrad work :(  However it did involve sticking dozens of electrodes on peoples heads so they were all wired up like servitors - so it kind of felt related to project day! :D  I'll try and get my titan stripped and assembled tomorrow. Not sure if I will be able to bludge a camera until later though (my camera is broken :(). Good luck to everyone else around the world though!

Hi,

I've managed to make a start on my project today, with lots of transposing templates onto balsa wood and cutting them out. No construction yet, but I'm taking a break now to watch the footie, but I may make a start on that after.

I've also painted 10 WMA Greeks (that's 1 whole stand!), but we're also having a humid day here and it's tough working with super-quick drying paint.

Cheers,
Freshmetal

I had been hoping to taking a half day at work, but you know the old saying about the best laid plans. Today has turned out to be fairly busy for me and we're a little short-staffed today. So, no leaving early for me. :(  To add insult to injury, it's not raining at all, which means I could have been doing a ton of primering.

I'll try to get some things done tomorrow and Sunday to make up for today. The weather Sunday is supposed to be nice and sunny, so that should give me some time to spray paint outside.

I built a Gorkamorka Orky Fort that arrived in the mail today.  I also got half of my Epic Orks on their bases.  As my wife leaves tomorrow morning for her 10 year high school reunion I will have plenty of time to wreak more havok.  I've been working on my camera's settings so I'll have pictures up by the weekend.
