Hello, visitors to Warseer's forums may have seen this already, but for everyone else, here's a link to a post with some details about the rules for FW's 'Epic' air combat game here. To be honest, I think it sounds pretty ghastly, too complicated and I have a feeling between us on EpiComms and the SG forum, we could probably come up with something better... Anyway, what does everyone else think? I should get back to doing uni work now... ![]() ![]() |

Hi FS, I fear that the air game will be a pipe dream before GW gives Jervis and possibly even many of the minds bhind FW the boot... Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |

I am not impressed with the sound of the air game. I'll reserve judgement until it's released, but I've never had high hopes and this doesn't change that. |

1. I'll believe it when I see it. 2. It doesn't sound like it will fit well with EPIC- I would hope this would have been usable (even in a more basic form) in EPIC. 3. As a standalone game? Er um, I can't really think of anything really interesting about a 40K air war. The coolness factor is not there. Frankly there are air war games out currently that have the strong romantic draw of the air knights of the past. |

Is it just me or do these two points sound mutually exclusive? There are no plans to redo any of the existing Epic scale aircraft |
