Just found a special card for Marines amongst my Imperium box set.
It's called Scythes Of The Emperor and is basically 5 Terminator stands with a Thuderhawk Gunship all for 250pts.
From the type of card its on i'd assume its either from the Titan Legions boxset or a White Dwarf issue??

Anyone know anything about the unit?? I assume it can be used with any Marine army?
Its just i only have the card and there isn't any additional info on there apart from the morale value / break point / victory point values??

It was a special unit from a WD.  There was 4 in total, including Krugers Heroes - a unit of 3 veteran Russ Tanks

I think so, but cant confirm that.  One of the others was a Chaos Marine unit called "The Blood Slaughterers".  Cant recall what the 4th one was though

Yeh, i have that card too.

I doubt i have the copy of White Dwarf though so i don't know of any special rules or history for thr units?

I'll have a look through my other cards and see if i can find anymore, i seem to remember there may be an Eldar card. ???

Yup, Kreuger's Heroes (3 russes) , Scythes of the Emperor (T-hawk + Termies) , Catachan Devils (regular IG company card but with a few special rules) and Blood Slaughterers (CSM Legion)

Hi!

That would be WD 193 or there abouts. I have those in the electronic archive if anyone needs them.

Hmm, I have it I'm sure, I just don't remember it. Mayhaps I don't have that 'dwarf (I've only ever collected after 150 or thereabouts when it had something epic related in it).

Something to remember to look up when I return to civilisation!

Played the Cats vs. CSMs using our modified SM1 rules ... I killed a lot of IG ... but my CSMs lost by not finding/capturing any of the Warp Gates ...  :(  But a fun game anyway !!! :;):
