Not sure if anyone else has seen it, but October's (I got it last night, so Im guessing this is either old news or they are their usual punctual selves...
) Ragnarok (the SFSFW's magazine) has an epic scenario in it (along with some other quite interestin stuff).The scenrio is based on an Imperial world where the remnants of a Tyranid hiveship has crashlanded, and is trying to rebuild its resources. The Tau have arrived on the (fairly overstretched) planet, and want to remove the obvious threat of the Tyranids. To complicate matters even further, a Guard armoured force has been despatched to investigate a bunker which they have heard no word from in a while (guess why?
).Forces given, along with suggested extra rules for tyranids taking control of units mentally, and the unwillingness of human Tau units (Gue-whateverers, I dont do Tau
) to fight against their former masters. Similar format to the stuff that was in Fanatic really.As I said, might be old news, but I was pleasantly surprised, and thought others might be interested...
