Unfortunately I am missing 1 warlord and 1 scout titan. When being packed to be sent to me the guy had drop both and they need extensive repair. That was nearly a year ago and unfortunately I havent seen them yet. I wait and hope.

Maksim, its definately in the UK catalogue. I could take a pic if you like and even give the code number. I remember that when ordering some stuff I decided not buying them even though the Troll had asked me.

Next come the resin gargants
http://netepic.org/DOUG/resin%20gargants.jpg
the front four on the left side(three painted and a master) ?were painted and sculpted by Steve Mussared. ?It was his company that did the gargants for GW. ?There were three types actually ordered, 1 short fat one and 2 versions of the tall one. ? There were 1000, 100 and 10 made but I forget now which model has 1000 etc. ?I have throughout the last couple of years found quite a few.
I never knew there were such things until Paul Tuffskull had one and I missed out in buying it. ?Strange how these are not openly advertised in the early White Dwarf mags and that they were made from white resin. ?I do have another thats made from metal also done by Steve Mussared but I need to find it as I out it in a safe place and I cannot find it.

I well remember many of those minis from hallowed antiquity! Wonderful to see that they are loved in a collection such as yours Doug, not rotting away in some GW cupboard. Impressive that youve managed to track them down!

Magnus:
Yep by all means go for it.... ?I am trying to organise my collection and thought I would share a few pictures. ?I will try and get a few more on as I progress. ?
Stormseer:
That book had me checking out all my contacts for these fine pieces. ? I think I know where the War Griffins Titans group are though because the guy is really ill I havent been able to complete the trade. ?I am still missing the reaver Warp Runners that Mike Mcvey had painted up. ? ?I am still on the trail of the pre released Warlords which I have a fair idea where they might be but have to be found so I hope I have first dibs when they are found
I never thought I would be buying such stuff but the imagination back in those days from even the staff was amazing.

Quote (stormseer @ 15 2005 Aug.,00:55) | Hmm... you've got me thinking- how about creating a "Rare and unusual miniatures" album on De'Aynes? I'm sure with your help and the rest of the group we could get photos of the more common stuff, plus some other interesting stuff? | I like the idea of that.
Thanks for the pics of the rare minis! I'm impressed that you have so many rare ones.

Tas:
It was a little luck for my part but suffice to say I dont regret buying these. ?I know of a few other painted models like these but have to wait til september before I can find out more about these.
Still here is the metal gargant that never made production at all and the sculpter no longer has the master. Or wont sell it. ?Suffice to say this was the only cast and its resin in the middle and metal on the outside.

*Very* nice!
Thanks a million for finally putting some actual images to some images to the pieces I've been hearing about for years.
If you take requests though... would there be any chance of a shot of this "legendary" dropship?
I have to admit I'm more than a little curious to see what the thing actually looks like.
Cheers ~H

Sounds good to me Primarch. Thanks!
After 10 years I'm sure a bit longer won't kill me somehow.
