Awsome pics Doug!
The metal pre-mk1 gargant is new to me but it looks really nice! The tall resin gargant to the far left of the pic... Is that an original master with green stuff detail on it?
Cheers!

Can someone confirm if there ever were METAL versions of the old fashioned Eldar Falcon?
If so how could you tell its genuine? I ask because I have 3 or 4 I think and there isnt visable signs at all, though the casting looks like it was from those times butthat doesnt mean anything either

I believe the Falcons depicted on the cover of 1st ed Codex Titanicus are the metal prototypes. I've only ever heard about them through rumours but the ones on CT does look a little different from the plastic version. Still I have no idea if these were metal or resin. Same thing goes for the pre-plastic skull battlewagon (Which looks a lot better than the plastic version I might add )
Edit: Looking through CT the falcons there look very similar to the plastic ones. Hmm... However I'm almost certain that I've seen a pic of the metal ones somewhere which looked a bit different...
Cheers!

Hi Guys,
The mini-Traktor buggy was given away as a promo at the 1990 UK Gamesday.
The US also got some copies that were mostly given away to GW employees.
To my knowledge, they were never sold.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi Guys,
The SM Dropship was originally sculpted during the AT-1 era. but was never released at that time.
It was later released from US mail order as a BFG ship along with many of the Eldar X-vehicles.
Later, US mail order sold it as an Epic piece through the Epic archive.
Unfortunately, with the removal of the US archive, it has been stricken from the records and is no longer availible.
I have one and have been finagling with a local to get a second. He almost through it away with some miniatures until I gave him some money and took the pieces off his hands. He asked for the dropship back so I gave it to him. As far as I know, it's functioning as a fancy paperweight in his office at the moment. He's given up on gaming and recently asked me if I wanted it back.
I told him yes, but asked him to take some sort of compensation from me in return. He could use the money and we've always been friendly. People can be odd... myself included.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.
