I am working on programing NetEpic and EpicA for Armybuilder. I need plenty of help so I wanted one place to collect information and pick your brains. ![]() I will try to post and update when I can. I would like to know where the demand is so I can concentrate on one area at a time. For NetEpic: would you prefer v2 or v3 version? I have a start on both but I need to focus. I have more experience on v2 but v3 seems to be easier once I get more familiar with it. Give me some feedback guys. Give me anything you care to share. |

![]() I have been traveiling for the last week. I have been reading the manuels for version 3.0 to learn it. It may add some upfront time but v3.0 does seem to be a lot easier to use. I was curious to know if people have 3.0 or want the older version. the older version is a bit labor intensive and I am thinking it could be quicker even with the learning curve on the new one. Either one will work. Give me some feedback though. If the majority want the older version I will back up and concentrate on getting it right. It needs a little work but it is usable. I would have to enter all of the stats and races. It just doesn't do everything you would want it to. Unless I hear otherwise I am concentrating on the v3.0. I have actually gotten to the point that the game system (definition files and the data files) load. What I haven't learned yet is how to make it usable. ![]() The new version does a lot of things differently. I am sure if I was a more experienced programmer It would be up an running. I am pleased that I was able to get it to the point of loading without bombing. ![]() ![]() ![]() I am still open for any and all suggestions and help. |

Hi! Use the latest version of army building. If you come up with these files I know many on the netepic list would use them and that would mean using the latest version of AB. ![]() Primarch |

on vacation but working on it. Finally got a loadable program but doesn't work yet. ?I am making progress but slowly. I am still in the learning curve with AB3. Part of my problem is that every thing is on my laptop and I can't get online with it at the moment. Anyone out there with ideas or experience with AB3? |

Hi! Take your time, I for one will use it extensively. I also know it has been asked for on the netpeic list over the years quite a few times. Whatever you come up with will be put up for download on the Epicentre and hopefully on the AB site as well. Primarch |
