Howdy, pardners, I treated myself (good for morale, a fine excuse, this ? ) to a copy of WH Historical's Legends of The Old West. It's a mighty fine publication this, with rules for gathering posses (cowboys, lawkeepers, outlaws), hiring guns (including the Chinese rail worker, the preacher, the prize fighter, cookie, the soiled dove, the Mexican bandito, and my favourite, the Pinkerton man...), hiring the legendary gunfighters (the Earps, the James, Pat Garret, Billy the Kid, etc) and how to throw the odd punch in anything from a bar-room brawl to a bank holdup. Whee-haw. It's a skirmish game, VERY similar to Mordheim more than anything else, but looks more fun than poker night at Tombstone.
