We-ell, I didn't realize my tale-of-6-gamers army was quite so inspiring! Huzzah! Oh, and I've thought of a good way of celebrating it (1) we don't (I believe) have someone loquacious enough to convince GW to support EA, let alone bring back Squats (2) we COULD all let our beards grow, or put on fake ones, and go around on bikes quaffing beer (make mine a Guinness, please!) - but that can be done without the benefit of Epicomms; (3) SO why not take a look here and hang our heads in shame for the emptiness therein? Can we fill this up over this week? We need loads of pics, even if they're already there, but the main aim would be to get one of each item. What do you think, Stormy? If you'd agree, we definitely need: TROOPS AND SMALL ARTILLERY combat squad ** attack squad* heavy squad* warlord* hearthguard* living ancestors* Robots** Rapier Thudd gun* Tarantula Mole mortar* VEHICLES Rhino (a Squat Rhino, not a UM or something)* bikers* trikes* Guildmaster* Termite (Squat colours) HEAVY AND SUPERHEAVY VEHICLES Mole (Squat colours) Land train battlecars, illustrating all types Leviathan Goliath mega cannon FLIERS Iron Eagle gyrocopter The ones marked with a * are models I have - unpainted. The ones with a ** are models which are already painted - if CS gives me permission to use my TO6G models for this too. I'd rather not deviate from TO6G work, but I am willing to fill in any gaps with models I have which require painting. The following are already included, although other pics would be nice: Land Train Colossus Cyclops Overlord Thunderfire So - shall we do it? As an elf I find this trumpery of squat 'values' loathsome , but the beer would be good, and the bikes and.....the beard is out though, my wife wouldn't speak to me

What an excellent idea Vanvlak.... gallery@netepic.org everyone!! (I do have Leviathan, Squat CI, a Hellbore and Mole pics already on the gallery, but in the Imperial sections...) I think moving them into their own Squat gallerys is a good idea though, I'll get to it!  Cheers, ~G |

You kidding? The pictures are yours to do with as you will, I just ask to be able to use them in an article for the site. And, I support people to send all of the pictures of painted stuff to De'Aynes, Incoming and Warp Rift. Hell, I get stuff painted so rarely that I will be displaying it in as many places as possible - the whole world will know when I finish a mini! (Although, obviously, I have not finished one for the ToFG yet!) |

YES!!!! All hail the Squats! I figured with all the rumour of their demise a week of celebreting their (not so tall) greatness would put and end to such notions.BTW I uploaded a couple of special celebraatory Squat Avatars to the site. Get them while they're still fresh! Beers!

Careful on the beers, 4 minutes is a lot of painting time  Seems like the slow but steady squats are only now getting into their stride, maybe it should be a squat fortnight
