Hi all,
I might be a bit biased  but one ebay auction on the UK ebay epic section is particularly sad. I won't give the link, as it's easy enough to find: someone is selling a space marine army (including metals, not just the old plastic Landraider-rhino-marines gig) and other SG stuff because he wants to save up for an Ogre Kingdoms army. Ok, someone from here or other Epic places will be happy when they win this - but it's still a sad affair...

I don't like the look of the OgK stuff much at all personally; it seems a little cartoony imo...

It took me a quick web search to find what the hell Orge Kingdoms was... I remember a GW staff member talking about these guys. This pretty much sums up the worst of GW for me. The new big army, lots of elites... etc, etc. I dont like the minis either.

And Wood Elves got pushed even further back.
Next they'll probably make an amazon army, full of half(?)-naked women with certain body parts emphasized, just 'cause everybody in their target group will buy one.

The G/W Ogres in the last W/D ... bloody silly ... too bad they don't put such efforts towards Epic ...

It gets worse - look at the winning bid for this single 40K space marine! It's a great conversion with loads of work, but I'd say it's incredibly $ - Tuffskull, you could be a millionaire!

MORE SAD: this morning, at around 11:30, I purchased the last 3 blisters of BFG ships on sale in all the island. So I've added 2 blisters worth of Brute Ramships (8 ships) and a single blister of Onslaughts (3 ships) to my Orky fleet. Around 1 year ago I'd bought the last of the Epic stuff for sale in a store on the island, lurking in the storage space of a local store: a couple of boxes of Eldar troops. I guess I've got a very dubious pair of honours here...
