Just checking on the schedule for Epic minatures...

Late 2005: Black Templars
2006: Chaos Space Marines, Cadians, Ulthwe, Blood Angels
2007: Necrons, Adeptus Mechanicus/Titan Legions, Orkamedies Garagnt Bigmob
2008: Tyranids, Iyanden, Sisters of Battle, Siam Hann
2009: Tau, Tyranid Splinter Fleet, Blood Axes, Dark Angels

Doesnt seem to make sense that they are planning to work on new models like Necrons before making the rules for the existing Tau figures or re-use the existing Tyranid casts.

Comments?

After the decision to reassimilate SpecGames, very few things GW does makes sense to me :)

Unless FW makes them, I dont think they'll see the light of day. :(

To the uninitiated, this looks like an attempt to rush through. The forces that require the new minis are done first. If I was sceptical, I would say that someone who didnt trust the support to be there for a long time and cared about the game would put this order together so that the armies that needed the most work are done first...

Luckily, I am not sceptical!  :D

And Jervis has said that the schedule could be adjusted now after the changes.

I am waiting to see what FW and Jervis work out first. THis might end up being a good thing for us.

We shall see.

I do know this though, I wrote to FW and let them know my intent to buy any Epic they produce in support of the EpicA. I also listed what I had already bought.  :;):

The amount I had already spend was slightly shocking when said as a grant total.  :o   :oo

Urgh! You make a good point! I'm pretty sure I could buy myself a decent car for the money I've spent on Epic over the years... :O ?...Actuallly I'm not sure I really want to know. But sending them such info sure gotta make some sort of an impresstion if enough of us keep doing it.

...Actually in the future I think I'll add this to the little "suggestions" e-mail that goes with the FW order: "Spent ? (insert figure here) so far and still counting. Keep Epic alive!" :;):

Cheers! :)

dafrca> That sounds interestiing - how many 0's are we looking at here? :)

I know I'm planning on getting my MArauders and some more THunderbolts from them, and some of the super-heavies, etc, but so far I've only bought Hydras and 1 pack of Thunderbolts from FW for Epic.

Hi!

Hopefully FW and JJ can work out something good, and as Dafrca mentions, we wind up better than what with fanatic offered.

We'll see.

Nope, read it again.

It is a hopeful way of thinking.  :;):

I hope they reschedule the Tyranids, the amount people pay for them on ebay.... although if GW doe release Tyranids sooner, it's bad news for sellers and good news for buyers (me being a buyer).
