I have been going 100+ MPH for quite some time. Today, I feel like I am at the wall. Havn't hit it yet, but close. I woke up this morning and wanted to just call in sick and go out and play with my minis all day.  :O

Oh Well, maybe next time.  :D

Hi!

I know that feeling well. When I was able, I WOULD take a day off and invent whatever excuse and wind down.

Of course, nowadays the buck stop with me and not someone else, so that luxury is few and far between.

I am just glad that it is not just me feeling this way! I would just love a weekend right about now! My gf keeps telling me to work at Burger King... and it sounds less of a stupid idea every day!  ???

Yes, de-stressing every now and then is a must.  Even the strongest metal will break if you put enough pressure on it.

I have been very much "stressed out" for a number of months. Very unusual behavior for me, especailly based on my background and previous career. I started working out again and it helped. But thru my frustration I trained like I was going to Ranger School back at Ft. Benning, Ga. !  Lost 30 lbs since Sept. but recently became ill, and had to take a break.  Will start again slowly on Sunday.    Unable to sleep well, another sign of over training (and stress !).  But I take a perscription sleeping pill.  The Veteran's clinic takes pretty good care of me ... I've been told I earned it ! :;):  Must be getting old ... All those years of controlling my emotions, being an Alpha-male, type A personality ... finally caught up with me ... Lessons Learned - Chill Out and Stay Frosty ...  :;):

Now I get to go home to my two babies and my girl. :D

I do need to play hookie one day soon though.

Yeah, take a break. I usually manage to get some during the weekend, usually by reading some good books (Lovecraft, Pratchett... Gibson), playing computer games to the point of red eyes and nearly falling over or listening to music in brainbusting amounts and volume. Tends to help.

Yeah, that's the way to do it, Epic touring......I wonder if an Epic travel agency would work, 3 days on Primarchs' garage floor followed by 2 games in California with a brief stop in Malta on the way home, yours for only $999.99, I think it's a winner :D

Brain burn is featuring highly here too, having to retro file the entire office for a quality audit is no fun at all. Days off for everybody.
