I was thinking about my minis and what I store them in and I became curious, what do you guys use?

Card Board Boxes, Plastic boxes, felt lined boxes, out and on a shelf, What?

A large display cabinet, and a wooden box which once housed a pump delivered to a factory where I worked. But both are almost full! :(

I use Plano tackle boxes, a large one with removalbe trays for my guard, and a small one for my Chaos.  (although, at the rate people are converting to Chaos, they may be moving to a new home soon :p )

Hi!

I use Plano boxes extensively. I got something like 70 of them!  :p

One Idea I have is to pad those Plano boxes with foam, or use pistol/rifle cases that come with padding.

Cheap and effective.

Hay Primarch, congrats on getting to 4,000. Cool!

Anyway, back to Topic, it sounds like you and Plano are like me and Chesex Boxes. I must have about 10 of them and have continued to convert more and more as $ will allow.

Hi!

I found that Plano bozes are the easiest to get at discount stores and in good quantities. I have yet to find something better.

I have a couple of cabinets for my BFG, Epic, Necromunda, and nicely painted 40k, and a few shelves that gather dust very well...
I also have a load of stuff in GW mailorder boxes too.... (all nicely tissue-wrapped tho..  :;): )...

I've been toying with the idea of getting Army Transport case. However, even those seem to have been made with 28mm scale in mind.  :(

But my Squat army has now grown out of the single Citadel MO box I originally stored it in so I'll have to get something soon.

Mojarn,

Over at the 6mm_minis E-group, I have a whole folder for 6mm Wargaming Accessories that has a wide variety of companies listed that produce miniatures transport cases.

The Army Transport Case works out fine... you'll just have to replace the taller vehicle tray with smaller ones or use it for titans.

On other news, Mojarn, I haven't given up trying to get Signius to move and I'm at your service any time you'd like.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Ah, I should know by now to check the 6mm group.

Thanks on both counts, especially on the Renegade Imperial Commander issue as you've really gone above and beyond anything I have the right to expect. And you can tell Mr. S that it has been 10 months now...

Display cabinets, at least sort of, and for the others I make the boxes myself using really cheap foam that is also surprisingly good for this purpose.

Hi!

Anytime I have a 6mm question, just pop over to the 6mm links on the mailing list.

By and far the most useful bookmark I have....  :D
