In case people hadn't noticed, wherever I go I'll probably have my "TuffSkull" tag in my name somewhere.
Even on boards where I dont "officially" use the tag, it ends up being my most referred to name! I learnt long ago that I wont ever escape it, so I dont bother hiding it any more
(I have been known to occasionally play online games under the title of "Death_Guru" though.. )

I go by one of three names, either Chris, corkers123, or The Fallen Angel. If you see any of these, it's probably me!
Cheers
Chris

I'm not a big gamer, but when I do its usually Battlefield 1942, Desert Combat (when it doesnt crash) or Dungeon Siege (not for a LONG time)

If you search for iblisdrax on the UT2004 master server list, then that is probably me, banging away in Onslaught mode.
And, btw, Tuffskull, it is still sorta on topic, they are 'gaming' aliases, of a sort.
my 2cents,
iblisdrax

I don't frequent many boards but nowadays I am Mojarn Piett everywhere I go, including the yahoo groups. If the boards don't allow a space between words I'll use '_' instead.

I don't get about much beyond here, but it's still Vanvlak all the way. Incidentally - I've probably mentioned ad nauseam that I'm an engineer and that I lecture on materials at univ: that's where the name came from. My textbook on materials when I was a student was authored by someone surnamed VanVlack, and that's what we used to call the book. So my callsign is not a reference to some Gothic Admiral or Titan Princeps or Vampire (the WHFB side of things, this) or even any Ad Mech type, but a throwback which seemed to fit well in the WH universe. After dropping the 'c', at any rate.... So - why WM Nice, or L-4, or Iblisdrax, then? What's the tale?

I use the_fifth_horseman and variations: - fifth_horseman on battle.net and places where I cannot enter my full nick - thefifthhorseman where there are no underslashes allowed
On yahoo I use a nick of mikegawlas, but thats only cuz somebody already took MY NICK!
This person seems to be somwhere out there, lurking... I tried to nail him down, but found only one proof of his existence as an entry to a guestbook somwhere on the net. :x
Same problem arised on EzBoard, thus I used a full... long... nick of The_Fifth_Horseman_of_the_Apocalypse.

Most of the time I go by CyberShadow. Where this is taken in a few places, I go by CyberSammael (or sometiumes Sammael).

I have quite a mixture, my selection being: - GAMBIT - netepic - DRUAGA - thewebb - thehead - scarpa_floe
My soon to be flatmate on the other hand has a more eclectic selection: - MAGNET - Pat Butcher (although only when gaming online, the vision of Pat Butcher storming the trenchs is enough to fill anyone with fear - try googling her for pics :S) - Jamesmarg1

I'm either Stormseer on GW related modelling/gaming sites, or 'Wildcard' on powerkite and other forums....
...as for any tales behind them? ... not really, just thought they were kinda cool sounding... hehe...
