Not sure if I'm missing something here - Multi-part Marines?

Yup, Forgeworld makes them. I'd really love to get my hands on a couple just to see how much better they are then the current ones.

Was that case from figures in comfort? A friend bought one for his WFB army and he really liked the flexibility of customising the foam inserts. I was thinking about getting one for Epic figures. But I reckon the old style GW single/double cases will be better , especially for Epic Infantry.

Cheers

James

Yes. I bought a range of inserts, some for Epic and some for my new Tomb Kings army.

Again, sorry I missed you all.

Can't seem to find them on the web-site. Am I being daft?

Multi part marines were the majority of my spend at this years show. I got some weird looks & the FW guy asked me if I knew what I wasbuying when I asked for 25 of them, but Warwick set the guy straight on my insanity ?:D ?:-:

Holy Cow! 25 more? How many of these little guys have you purchased over the last couple of years, Tuff? You must have put together over 100 of them... and you dont need to be a maths wizard to work out the cost of that.

I am so looking forward to seeing the entire lot assembled and painted. That is going to be one hell of a spectacle!

Thanks for the WM pictures, I look forward to them.

FW's Epic Multi Part Marines are only available at shows, and are ?2 each. But they are true multi part minis in 6mm. Very cool!

Sticking my neck out here a little - I was really supprised (but pleased) but the numbers of women and girls at the show. It was really nice to see whole familes camped out having "carpet picnics" at lunchtime. I now have higher hopes of coverting my wife and young daughter, as both have shown an interest, but were put off by the boy'ish nature of staff and customers in the GW shops.

You are winding me up right?  :(

Sorry, didn't mean to offend.

No, I'm being serious. I guess I don't get out much.

What's your view on this then?

Ah - I see...

Well, I'm a married man and just in case Mrs Furgie is looking in, I really didn't notice.

(But between you and me, the standard of totty was excellent and there was plenty of it... )

Well, the show has been & gone & my god am I knackered!

Afraid I didnt get any photos though, there wasnt much of interest really ?:{

Also, My appologies if I missed anyone from EpiComms. Myself & James (Wargames Insomniac) met up at 2 but I didnt spot anyone else & at quarter past we gave up & went downstairs to find some seats!

Anyway, after 3 hours kip last night I must go & recover. Good day though, I hpe anyone I didnt meet but who was there enjoyed themselves as well ?:D

Glad we caught up. It was great chatting about Epic and seeing your figures. Some cool guard and even cooler Norse blood bowl team.

Hope you got your varnish problem sorted!!

Cheers

James

See.... I knew Cyber and Tuff were fibbing about Lara Croft, I probably missed a clone of Angelina Jolie!

They must been conspiring against me in a plot to steal the totty and take them on camping tricks   .

Grrr Arggg.... :p
