I ran into my old friend, Chern, who has photos in De'Aynes and was my E-A playtesting partner before our local gaming shop got closed down and he got shipped out for the Summer to a job location. Last weekend (15 Nov 03), I went to see "Master and Commander" with my siter and roommate and we watched that "long winded" film. As I was walking out of the theatre, a big bearded guy (never seen him with a beard before, but then again I lost mine so I guess it's a juxtaposition...) approached me and guess what... It was Chern back in my area on a short leave and we chatted and he gave me his new E-mail and the whole bit. He's looking forward to E-A (which is good since I'm burned out on all the "in-decision" and politics). I might even get to play again! At any rate, many of us on the boards know him or of him so I wanted to get the news out. Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |

Hi! Its good your got your gaming buddy back! I wish I could get ANYONE for a game. BUt truth be told I lack the initiative to go back to my days of converting people to play epic. I'm much more into the game design part of gaming nowadays. Primarch |

Chern is pretty introverted so he's tough to read sometimes. He's probably a little scared of part of the gang. Again, being one of his closer friends, I'm not sure myself. Good guy though and none of us is perfect (myself especially included!). Shalom, Maksim-smelchak. |

Hi! I would think he'd be okay here, we're pretty laid back. But hey its not like you need to be on these forums to enjoy epic. Even though we may think otherwise there are way more people playing epic out there who dont feel the need for online support. Still I hope he joins in, you can tell him I'll bite anyones head off who gets out of line with him.... Primarch |
