Heres the wrap error... CGIWrap Error: Script Execution Failed CGIWrap encountered an error while attempting to execute this script: Error Message: Too many open files in system Error Number: 23 This message usually indicates there is a problem with the script itself. Often this indicates either that the #! line of the script is incorrect, or the script was uploaded in binary mode instead of ascii mode. Check to make sure that the script does not have control-M's at the end of every line. That will prevent it from executing. An easy fix that takes care of this most of the time is to put '#!/.../perl --' instead of '#!/.../perl' on the first line of the script. This is typically a problem if the script was edited or uploaded from a DOS/Windows/Macintosh station to a unix based server. If you are not the owner of this script, please forward this error and the URL that caused it to the script owner. That is often the component in the URL right after /cgiwrap/. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Local Information and Documentation: Contact Name: Administrator Contact EMail: admin Server Data: Server Administrator/Contact: admin Server Name: www.epic40k.co.uk Server Port: 80 Server Protocol: HTTP/1.1 Request Data: User Agent/Browser: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 98; DigExt) Request Method: GET Remote Address: 80.225.11.212 Remote Port: 1074 Extra Path Info: /epicomms/ikonboard.cgi Referring Page: http://www.epic40k.co.uk/epicomm....] |

I just had the same problems and a host of error messages. It looks like the hosts are messing around with their database. I will give them the weekend to see what the problem is and stop changing things. If the problem remains Monday, I will investigate further. In the meantime, please continue to report any problems, including the error message, and day and time (and where you are so I can tell what time that is over here!). Thanks for keeping me informed. |

I had one the other day which said too many open gateways...which I wouldn't think would be a problem, as I was the only guy on the forum at the time! Usually refreshing the page gets past the errors though, at least it does for me. Cheers Chris |

Well, Sunday at 5pm (UK time). I have not had a single error while browsing today, so I would guess that it was the hosts playing around with the stuff at the back. Anyone got any errors after this post? |

Yeah, I seem to have had no more problems, it must have just been a one day event. Cheers Chris |

I havent noticed that problem, but in the last few days have noticed a weird thing... The times for posts has got all messed up. To me it displays a time of a few hrs ago for a post I just made...and then new messages will appear with a time stamp of a few hours Before That. Weird....is it just me? |

Perhaps it is something to do with the computer clock in your PC? If it is set wrong, it may be showing times wrong. It happened to me once before. Cheers Chris |
