Maksim - this is an ideal candidate for an event, which is added to the calendar. Unfortunately, events can only be added when the original post is made, so if you want to repost this and delete the original - it can be added to the calendar.

In fact, this might be a good time to let people know that we have the calendar. Feel free to add dates to it. You simply make a post as normal, and fill in the dates at the top. An event is placed in the calendar, which is linked to the post. Close to the date of the event, a message appears at the bottom of the main forum page.

Feel free to use this to advertise cons, open games, etc.

To be honest, the reason I didn't post this to the calendar is because I don't know how to use it myself. I just made a new post and entered this event into the calendar.

I was only able to enter one day of the event. How do I enter all three days of the event?

I will delete the other post at a later date although this post was crossposted to two areas of the Epicomms lists.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

CONQUEST was great!

The game ended up being about 3,500 points per side (IG vs. Tyranids) played by four players and two GMs (One primarily adjudicating and the other primarily recording the battle and double-checking to make sure we didn't forget anything.). Each player controlled two to three formations.

The IG predictably beat the tar out of the Tyranids who won the game, nevertheless, by maintaining victory conditions.

The map was a road running down the table through a forest and then a city. The IG was tasked to drive through the city and reclaim it. The Tyranids were to prevent the IG from reclaiming the city.

The Nids were successful at preventing the IG from entering the city after six turns of hard fighting. Another turn or two and the IG would have retaken the city, but the game was only set up for six turns.

I'm writing up the battle report and get the photod arranged this week and I might finish today.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.
