Hello,

I see we have grown past 100 members with about 70 posts each on average. Is this stat "normal" or small or large as far as "game fan" based Forums go? (I mean not just Epic, but others as well)

I mean I know there are some that have 100's of memebers, but I was curious how this one stands up to other forums.

I think that this is reasonably normal. The thing that strikes me is the difference between the 'regular posters' and the rest. There are very few, if any, members with around 100-150 posts, and most members here fall either into the category of 'old timers who speak up a lot' or new/rare posters.

It does seem to be normal.  There are around 10-20 regular posters I guess.  It may not sound much out of 103 (or whatever it is now) but I like it.

It gives you enough diveristy, yet retains the close community feel. (everyone knows each other reasonably well).

It depends - if you look at Critical Hit or Miniforums, then this is very small, but EPIC is a minority hobby, and thus will not get as many members.

I've always felt that for the smaller size of our community, we have tremendous amounts of participation.

I think that there is a strong likelihood that our community will grow again with E-A's debut. I'm starting to think that JJ is really committed to seeing E-A succeed.

I must admit I was a little shocked to see the average vs. my number. You would think I did nothing but post all day.  :laugh:

Hi!

I think we compare favorable with most forums of this size, of course if you look at mega-forums like protent and such we are small, but for a fringe hobby we are pretty darn good!

Oh trust me when I say if I could figure a way to pay my bills and keep my family in a house and play all day I'd do it right away. :D

I just have not found many well paid professional gamer openings  :{
