Got a kick out of that and thought I'd share. Boston is currently the third snowiest city in the US (96 inches). Worcester (where I live) is #1 with 103 inches. To put that in perspective for the Epic gamers out there, that's greater than an Earthshaker Cannon's Indirect Fire range.

Hmm, that is a *lot* of snow.

As to the picture, if I had been foolish enough to go out driving in those conditions, came back to find nowhere less than 3'0 deep in snow and was at risk of hypothermia or a mild case of death, I wouldn't have any problems with parking in the first available spot - and I would seriously consider calling in sick the following day . . . . :D

Seriously though, wrap up warm and work from home if possible!!

They've cancelled for 2-3 or the storms. For one they didn't, I saw three other people that day (there's around 20 in the building). I ended up 3D modeling. :P

Haven't jumped out of any windows. I've got one 2x2 that's about 75% snow at the moment though.

We keep trying to get Dave to jump out a window for our entertainment, but he won't oblige ;D

The whole "according to the Mayor..." bit is possibly the most ridiculous thing about this whole thing. But as to the guy that put the snow back? I hope the police bring him a nice thawing-out present of a misdemeanor charge. That's not suitable behavior, it's just childish, nasty and uncivilised.

Anyway, to all my fellow north-easters: Stay warm, be safe, keep off the roads and don't make life even harder for your emergency services.

Looks like we left just in time (although my wife would have LOVED to see more snow) !
