...I seem to remember that the space hulk Orkimedies was commanding around Armageddon during the 3rd war was either chased away or destroyed....
I think this was in one of the follow-up bits in WD a few years ago.. I'll see if I can dig it up...

WHO HIJACKED MY THREAD?
Anyway, if you could find anything, I'd appreciate it. I hope he doesn't die. And maybe even expand on him. I do realise, though, that GW often introduce characters and other things for fleeting moments.
I just thought this guy sounded interesting, and would make for a good new character.

As I said, I believe he went the way of the things I mentioned previously - Gone, done, game over, schools out ! ?That was my point - G/W is nothing if not capricious. ?I have all the W/D issues since 109 or so. I have all the Epic rule books. As time goes by many things get dropped by the way side. ?But in our Epic universe the Squats still exist, so there's no reason that when you play 40K or Epic you can't use him ? ?We have made up rules many times before ...

My take isquite simple - GW seem to have droped him as a character (at least for the moment), but if you like him there'snothing to stop you from expanding upon his background (or future...) and making him a character of your own but with the basic traits taken from the original which you liked.

Like all good villians, Orkimedes can easily live to see another day!

I have actually been thinking of introducing him into my own fluff etc, and even maybe converting my own version. Dont know where to start yet though.

Well re-read the fluff, I do it all the time, (like I'm reseaching a report !) and do as T/S & I suggest - make it up ! G/W leaves us room to do that in many cases, (probably by accident !) ...
