Greetings everybody.
I'm just saying hello to all.
I should be back regular soon. No doubt your all rolling your eyes!!
I have missed all of the epic and BFG news for at least 2 months, so am gonna have to trawl all the posts, unless anyone wants to give a bullet point refresher.
I have also finally organised an epic opponent!!!! OK he lives miles away, but every once in while we will get together for a game. He was due this weekend, but as luck has it, broke down at the pub around the corner from me.
I had to jump start him, and he went back home before he cut out again!
Still, there's next time.
So, whats going on?

I'll run down whatever I can remember for now:
Epic
There will be plastic infantry for Epic:A, the old moulds are being re-tooled
Epic:A has been sent to the publishing dudes to find spelling mistakes and go into print
FW are planning some Epic Eldar
The GW US Online Store has sh*t loads of long OOP models and some never in production Epic models
EoT will be allowing Epic:A results to be put into the overall campaign
BFG
BFG 15 is out, along with the new daemon infested ship
BFG:Armarda is this years suppliment, covering all the fleets and new rules since the games release, including possibly Tau
FW have made a new Grey Knights Strike Cruiser, yet again undercutting the GW price.
If I have forgot anything, please add it, this is all I can remember right now!!
Cheers
Chris

Shadow Hunter: The "retooling" Chris spoke of basically means the specialist infantry is being removed from the new plastic sprues and is being replaced by more standard grunts. The more exotic infantry that has been removed will still come out in metal.
Chris: I had missed that Grey Knight's Strike Cruiser. Looks excellent. Any idea if they plan to make a Battlebarge?

Chris | *phew* still remembered.
Well, it looks like I've been well and truely beaten in the post count now. Ahh well.
I have had numerous nightmares. I have had limited access to the net, but not much and no real time for posting.
This will hopefully change. More deppressing was the fact that I haven't been able to really get any games in at all.
Thanks for the run down Chris. There's some really good stuff going on then. I'm glad the minis are to be plastic. Easier for converting. Is everyone pleased on this, or is there any moaning?
Glad epic will effect EoT too. Though it makes it even harder to decide who to side with.
I'm glad about the coallating epic stuff. I'm in the middle of introducing a new friend to it (he plays Imperial Navy, and has a very nice fleet groing) and it will be easier to locate all the rules.
Well I'll try and look around. Thanks for the welcome back.

Go with the 'good' guys. I keep hearing people saying that Chaos should win to shake up the 40K universe. I agree a change would be good, but the Imperial forces actually expanding would definitely be a change as well. It always seems they are lurching from one crisis to the next. Humanity needs a break !
Jackhammer, who will be using his Imperial Navy in the upcoming conflict

No problem, I'm also glad Epic mins will be plastic. It'll cost less and they will be better, because they will have more "core" stuff on them.
As for Grey Knights, I hope they do a Battle Barge, a fleet of them would be cool.
The good guys should win at EoT, kick you Chaos ass and kill Abadon!!! That would make an excelent end!!! (Oh, I forgot to mention, GW have said there will be a winner!!! not a draw like Armageddon...)
Cheers
Chris

Good. That draw result was a real let down. I really wanted the Orks to wipe the planet clean.
This time, however, its more difficult. There are so many things going on, that the outcome is a bit more hazy.
For instance, Chaos could overwhelme the Imperium, expanding the Eye of terror (win for evil)
Then Eldar defend the webway, and maybe even retrieve the Talismans of Vaul (win for good)
As there are so many campaigns ongoing at the same time, its hard to see an outcome, if it is going to be resolved on results and not fixed.
I really would like the Imperium to get a good kicking, but I also have a soft spot for my first army (Eldar) so would like them to win their mini war. The Orks will win, no matter the outcome, as there will always be someone for them to fight.
