Cuz that's where I'm moving! Yes, I'm back from the dead... more or less. My wife has taken a teaching and research position at Northeastern University, so the whole family is uprooting from the capital of Canada to Beantown. She starts in January 2015, but we'll be making the move in late November or December. Not sure where we'll be living, going to be scouting locations in September. Haven't found a lot of players here in Ottawa, through those I have played with have been great. Hoping to meet more people and get my EPIC blood fired back up again! Hope to hear from some of you soon! |

He lives!  Hopefully you land with some gamers nearby. Check out Elsmore's Mini-wars and see what you turn up. I know Dave and Bezerk Monky are not too terribly far IIRC (as in worth a drive for a tourny weekend) Tangentially: Any chance this means you'll get back on the EA: Total War gig? |

E:TW still holds a very special place in my circulatory pump... but going from a cadre of ten fairly dedicated players in Hamilton to 2-3 sporadic players in Ottawa really sent my morale and ambition for the project down. There's plenty of us in central/eastern Mass. Dave, rtoomey, doomscape, and I are in/around Worcester, amerger84 is in Boston, MattA is up in New Hampshire. A bit farther afield, but close like Jimmy says, are uberChris and robbypk out in Amherst, bezerkermonkey and dwarf supreme in CT. I'm sure I'm missing someone, but we have the second-rate NEAT tournament Dave organizes semiannually, and usually we get 8-12 people together once a month. You should get your epic on if you make time! |

A little further than Worcester is, but northern New Jersey's only 250 miles away. Not too terrible if there's a weekend of gaming afoot! |

Late September, early October for the most part. With CT and MA being more southerly it usually leans more towards October. |
