Hello, I'm looking for a pretty specific type of resin base and my google-fu is weak  I'm looking for something to base my avatar on, and I want a sort of cracked, erupting stone, like the ground is cracking under his feet.... can anyone suggest any specific bases they think might fit the (admittedly vague) bill? thanks in advance! |

How about using Agrellan Earth, that should give you a great crackled effect, I love the stuff. |

The ruins bases from microart studios might fit(specifically round 60mm, as it has a few big shattered cracks in it). Otherwise I'd advise looking through their whole collection as they have a lot of Resin bases that may fit what you're looking for. I only have experience with some of their add on kits, not their bases, but they quality was very good with one very small flaw on one of the 6 things I bought. |

Try picking up some slate. Brake it down into smaller sections and then stick to base. In between the slate infill with pva glue or water resin and paint up. |

Those are some really good ones SpeakerToMachines. I had thought something like this one: http://www.shop.microartstudio.com/round-c-3_10_75.html but yours has more cracks and really has the earth shredding up in tiny bits. |
