I am not a young man anymore and I have just for the first time in my life tried Oreos. They are really quite nice, I have been missing out it seems. |

To me, the weirdest thing about Oreos is how much better they are than the generic versions of the same type of cookie. A lot of the time generic cookies are just as good as the brand named ones, but every generic Oreo I've ever had has been noticeably inferior to the real thing. The main failing of the generic Oreos is that they don't stay crispy like Oreos do. Oreos are also good examples of industrial design. That pattern on the face of the cookie is distinctive and actually affects the way the cookie tastes. |

I've seen some weird topics on here before but this one really takes the biscuit. Still, I guess that's how the cookie crumbles... Never mind Oreos, if ye want a real treat, huv a Tunnock's caramel wafer! Ye cannae beat it! |

Huh, last year at Uni I had a milkshake from some American guys doing an information stall about discrimination. The free milkshake was to "draw people in" Guess what it was made of ? Oreo cookies and vanilla ice cream ! It was friken awesome. |

Just had my second pack of Oreos (I have them in twin packs) and I rather fear I will be chasing the dragon, as it was not as good the second time... Back to Custard Creams it is... |

I'm a bit of a freak 'cos Oreos don't do a lot for me ("all the more for us" i hear you say) however a friend did Oreo truffles at christmas which frankly should have been ilegal - SO good! Keep meaning to get the recipe but AIR it was basically just Oreos and butter. |

I have to chime in, although a bit late, we were on exercise in Germany recently, it was cold. it was wet. I opened my soggy ration box, and guess what was in it? A pack of Oreos. Made my day. Cheers army ration people! Steve |
