Post subject:  Anybody going to salute this year?
Subject says it all. Thanks to the new "brilliant" strategy of my former employer it'll more than likely be extremely hard for me to get a new job as the local job market will soon be flooded with my former colleagues, half of whom are better than me. :( That's why I thought I might want to go see what Salute is like while I still can afford to go and having a chance to meet with some of you while I'm at it.

Oh yes! As far as I know, I will be there with DRM again this year.

I'm sure I'll be there as usual - Wandering around talking painting and hobby history to a million different folk and always missing those I mean to meet up with!

Will make more of an effort this year... yes yes.. I do say that every year... but.. well.. ok... I give up... :(

I'm going to try and come along - normally I can be found in the areas with beer. Gamesday nearly kills me each year, no bar. It truely is a cruel show.

Good, it would be nice to meet someone from the forum!

If anybody wants to say hi, I'll be the too tired/happy guy, toting around a trolley that gets progressively heavier as time goes on... :)

Well, since (if I remember procedure rightly...) Iain will be chained by at least two limbs to the DRM stand all day, shall we arrange a meet-up time there?

*engaging random time generator* Say 1pm?
Then we can get core shopping in first, and have the option of grabbing a bite to eat (& beer Tom, dont worry...) together whilst we chat.

I've already been asked to bring a couple of my small scale pieces to the show, so I think you should all do the same so we can swap (steal) ideas and exchange tips :D
