Frank Costanza: "Many Christmases ago, I went to buy a doll for my son. I reached for the last one they had, but so did another man. As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way."
Cosmo Kramer: "What happened to the doll?"
Frank Costanza: "It was destroyed. But out of that a new holiday was born: a Festivus for the rest of us!"

This thread is for the 2010 Airing of Grievances, a Festivus tradition. Please keep it related to miniatures and commercial aspects, no political issues.

There haven't been Necron releases for 8 years! Tongue my hole, GW!

Oh, there are plenty of Space Marines, but nothing worth a damn! Ooo, blood sucker marines. Ooo, hairy marines. If you're going to do marines, make 'em good! Pre-Heresy! Grey Knights! Something new! (special exemption for Forge World and their older marks of armor).

GW: your 8th ed WFB rules made me sell all my empire stuff and now I'm never coming back: screw you!

Damn you my collection of epic stuff for being far too big: I'll paint you all one day!

Toilet Brushes: your lack of adhesion to PVA glue means that my attempt at cheap 28mm scale trees has failed.

Mongoose publishing: WHEN WHEN WHEN will you produce a plastic miniature that doesn't need SUPERGLUE ot stick it's oily oily surfaces together?

Dust: leave my miniatures alone!!! It's not MY fault that I can't afford a vaccum packed display case!

Screw you tropical heat. 27 degrees c is NOT valid in december.

bugger off irony. Just now i finally have multiple armies and a house big enough for a gaming table, there's no friggen wargamers or LGS within 100km.

Why does GW give the popular games crappy rules and the unpopular games good rules?

Why was LOTR not basically Battle of Five Armies?

Why didn't I buy fewer Space Marines?

GW: 'nuff said. Also stop tempting me with big ol' Pointy Space Elves and Ratkin. $15 is NOT market rate for 3 stands of 10mm infantry! Curse you for tempting me into so many 28mm ventures that will ever go unfinished because the rules are crap! I could go on...

Spartan Games: Your Steampunk antics intrigue me. Why must the land options remain unreleased?

Baccus: Your Early Imperial Romans tempt me at a time of famine. Curse you WMA!

Privateer Press: why must you continue to ruin the beautiful thing you once had. i had so much love for you once, but now you make me so sad.

Warhammer Fantasy: why must you continue to ruin the fairly nice thing you once had. bad decisions, things have been going downhill since the Dark Elves came out. you used to be fun and interesting, now you're pretty hardpressed to be even half of one of those things.

Warhammer 40k: where the hell are my deathwatch and necrons? on the other hand, i've stopped playing tyranids since the last "improvement" so maybe i would be happier if you left them alone...

Infinity: Chainrifles make me sad, and for such an awesome game, the games seem to stop being fun pretty quickly...

online wargaming communities: why are you full of the kind of people who fill up online wargaming communities? so much bickering and petty crap. you make me sad too

GW Australia: seriously though, go **** yourself.

GW new paint pots suck.

4000+ points of epic painted this year ...0 armies complete

Spartan games still make almost all CAD sculpts (1 airship isn't?) symmetrical.

People persist in using the terms scratch-building and converting interchangeably.

No EW jump troops or transport valks for christmas :'(

Wargames factory: your inability to spend 30 seconds and update folks on your 6mm android project is frustrating, to say the least. Visit the thread once in a while! And 28mm pukes who visit said thread with comments like "it takes time, lay off" (and then have the audacity to get upset at the angry replies): cram it up your cram hole. Seriously. You got what you want. Go somewhere else. Why are you even on the thread?!?
Thanks, Dave, for throwing that little grenade into the room and walking away... :P
MJ12: I don't give a flying $#% about another fleet supplement ("Star Trek nerd Armada 13"). Why didn't you take a day or two to make a new shipbuilder so players don't have to do calculus to build ships with the rules annex?

CaptPiett: Seriously, can this guy be any more whiny? I mean he already HAS an updated shipbuilder for all the Starmada supplements he owns, yet he still complains there's no "official" one. It's always "Me, me, me! It's all about me! I'm not interested in their latest supplement so why should anyone else be!" Get this guy some cheese...

uberChris: Talk about ungrateful! He's got the greatest epic-scaled Blood Bowl field in the history of the world, and where do you think it is? Not on his fireplace mantle, that's where! If I had such a exquisite piece of hand-crafted awesomeness it would surely be sitting in a place of honor in my home. Pulitzer Prizes, Nobel Peace Prizes, dead relatives ashes, no way man! Off you go! Make from for the Blood Bowl.
