Post subject:  Colours 2010
I ended up at Colours today, a wargame convention in Newbury, here in the UK. I would classify this as medium sized for us over here. It is slightly more geared to historical, but there is some science fiction presence (although very little fantasy). Its a nice, relaxed convention:

The display was titled Ork-A-Nowa, from the 'Wednesday Warriors', and was seriously impressive. He even said that there was a load more that they just didnt have space for. There was a lot of stuff reused from a huge variety of sources, and it made my day.

I will talk a bit more about the day in my blog (link in my sig), when I get time tomorrow.

And, of course, a game of 'Catch The Pigeon'!

Huh that's awesome, not seen a display like that in years.

Are they regular Epic/6mm players?

That was my first question. He said that the group lives scattered across the UK. When they can get together, they do sometimes play, but really it was a display piece.
