Has any of the resident subscribers received any word about how GW intends to compensate to the subscribers for the Fanatic issues which will not be published?
I received #10 a short while ago with no word about compensation.

Phone Mail Order and explain the situation UK subscribers should have got a code. I suspect the same would happen for Northern European subscribers.

Hi
I managed to get the remaining issues for my previous subscription to both Fanatic Mag and Inferno transferred across to my exisiting subscription for White Dwarf. They just added a few extra issues at the end.
Cheers

I think I'll use the eMail way rather than calling; I have trouble with the finer points of pronouncing English.

Quote (Mojarn Piett @ 07 2005 April,07:09) | I have trouble with the finer points of pronouncing English. | You need to become fluent in use of the word "f**k", and to use the words "mate" or "duck" at the end of each sentence. That'll cover most situations.
Or is that just a midlands/northern thing?
That or, to make yourself sound more English, if talking to someone who doesn't speak English, speak loudly, and add "o" to the end of words, regardless of how little sense this makes. e.g. If asking for a room, it's "room-o? upstairs-o?" in a loud voice.
Don't mind me, I'm just easily amused.

Not heard 'duck' before, but whenever I speak I tend overuse the words 'matey', 'rockstar' and 'babe'. But maybe that is just a southern thang .
In our area the word sl*g tends be rather overused, but that is Hemel for you! We have a rep to maintain!

"Duck" is a very Nottingham thing. e.g. "Ey oop me dook" in English means "greetings".
"Rockstar"? We tend to overuse "dude", but that's the alternative/metal community for you...

L-4,
Did you receive Epic Mag #9 or #10 yet?

Hi!
There seems to be a large lag between getting the mag in Europe as opposed to the US. IS this because, unlike WD, the fanatic mag is only made in the UK?

Primarch | Maybe, but I probably got #10 before it was officially released. You see, I put in a polite but angry mail telling them that
1) I am asking about my Fanatic #9. 2) So far I have had to call after every single issue. 3) I'd like to get at least the final issue in time, without having to call after it.
Two days after that I got both #9 and #10 via UPS.
