In the old Flintloque ruleset there were rules for spells. The Flintloque reloaded does not have spells anymore but some of the older scenarios have references to spell rules.

So: if anybody still has the older rules I'd be _really_ grateful for those spell rules. I am prepared to purchase the whole rules booklet just to get those spell rules.

...and to think I helped to write and playtest the original set of rules...

It is a fun game, check my link http://www.ifelix.co.uk/flintloque.html for pictures and some other stuff.

Actually I also wrote an article which was published in Practical Wargamer.

I'm in the presence of one of the masters... :O  :O

Thanks for the links; I'll have to check 'em out. oh, and I sent you a PM.

For some reason I really like the setting and idea of the games. Flintloque is a good skirmish game and Slaughterloo is simply brilliant mass-combat game. Now if I only had time (and patience) to paint two divisions of troops.  :(  If only they made 15mm minis instead of 28mm...

There is apparently a third one but that is made by Wessex Games instead of AA. it's called "Ranke and Vyle" and it is a company level game and so somehwere in between of Slaughterloo and Flintloque.
